  • Arts & Crafts – Mill House Lawn & Shentel Parking Lot at Main St + Saums Way
  • Beard Contest – Photos taken at Information Booth. Prizes awarded on Saturday at 4 PM
  • Book Signing – Book Author’s Area located on the Mill House lawn
  • Children’s Fun Festival – Mill House lawn — All day (click link on front page to see event schedule)
  • Edinburg Mill & Museum – Elevator to 2 floors of displays, 2 gift shops, and film The Burning
  • Heritage Mill Wine Shop & Edinburg Mill Restaurant on the lower level
  • Festival Food – Throughout the town
  • Heavenly Heart Petting Zoo – at Charterhouse School
  • Living History Demonstrations – Throughout the day on the Mill property
  • Mini Menagerie Petting Zoo – at Children’s Festival
  • Shentel Shuttle – Leaving from various shuttle stops shown on the map. Ride to the next stop!
  • Taxi Rides in a 1939 Buick Deluxe. Taxi stand in front of the Charterhouse School & at the Mill
  • The Lampman is playing easy-listening music at the Shentel Parking Lot at Main St + Saums Way Saturday and Sunday.

FRIDAY EVENTS-September 18th

  • 5:30 – 45th Festival Opening Ceremony at the St. Paul’s Heritage Center at 106 S. High St
  • 5:30 – Ole Time Sing-Along following the Opening Ceremony at St. Paul’s Heritage Center, 106 S. High St, led by ShenCo Ukulele Circle
  • 7:00 – Cooters Garage Band at VFW Post 2447 located beside RR tracks on Stoney Creek Blvd
  • 7:30 – Square and Line Dance with Nelson & Jama Wakeman at the Charterhouse School gym
  • 7:30 – Old Timer’s Basketball Game at the Valley Baptist School Gym

SATURDAY EVENTS-September 19th

  • 7:00-11:00 – Pioneer Breakfast. Enjoy a delicious, hearty breakfast at St. Paul’s Heritage Center, 106 S. High St. Co-hosted by Edinburg Lions Club & Mount Jackson-Edinburg Rotary Club. Takeout available
  • 8:00 – Fun Run begins near the pool at the Madison District Park behind Charterhouse School
  • 9:00 – Richard Kleese will give a lecture on the Civil War in the Shenandoah Valley at the St. Paul’s Heritage Center
  • 10:00 – Diane Cooley-Lutz will discuss the history of Johannes Georg Dellinger and his descendants as settlers in the Shenandoah Valley
  • 9:00-1:00 – Meet a Fire Truck at the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department on Stony Creek Blvd.
  • 10:00-3:00 – Antique Car Show on the Charterhouse School Lawn. Classic & restored vehicles with awards presented at 2 pm
  • 10:00 – Festival Pottery will be available at the Information Tent
  • 10:00-1:00 – Book Signing featuring authors discussing and signing their books on the Mill House Lawn (Check website or the Journal for names and times)
  • 11:00 – Rock Bottom Band playing Classic Rock at the Charterhouse School stage
  • 11:00 – East of Exxon playing Bluegrass at the Edinburg Mill
  • 11:00 – Rifle Firing beside the Edinburg Mill
  • 1:00 – “MARCH THROUGH TOWN” PARADE
  • 2:00 – The Virginians playing Country at the Charterhouse School stage
  • 2:00 – Girl Meets Boy playing an eclectic mix of music at the Mill stage
  • 2:00-5:00 – Book Signing featuring authors discussing and signing their books on the Mill House Lawn (Check website or the Journal for names and times)
  • 2:30 – Rifle Firing beside the Mill
  • 3:00 – Edinburg Fire Dept. Country Supper at Fire House on Stony Creek Blvd
  • 6:00- 9:00 – “Party in the Park” Free family fun with The Instigators playing Country and Southern Rock music. Food, Beer & Wine will be available for purchase.
  • 6:00-11:00pm – Karaoke at Edinburg VFW Post 2447, located on Stoney Creek near the RR tracks

SUNDAY EVENTS-September 20th

  • 9:30 – Old-Time Church Service at Edinburg Christian Church at 210 Center Street.
  • 11:00 – Church Service at St. John’s Methodist Church at 116 S. High Street.
  • 12:30 – Line Dancing with Leather & Lace Dance Club at the Charterhouse School stage
  • 12:00 – Emmaus Road playing Contemporary Christian at Mill stage
  • 12:00-2:00 – Meet a Fire Truck at Edinburg Volunteer Fire Company on Stony Creek Blvd.
  • 1:00 – Old-Time Baseball Game at Edinburg Park
